Denmark Embassy's Weibo post went viral in China, and Chinese netizens joked that they should open a "Caviar Visa" for Danes to come to China and help eradicate the invasive species within five years. Some even asked if they should eat the oysters into extinction or near-extinction.

7年前,四川姑娘边苗苗和丈夫罗尼一起到了 Denmark, though occasionally enjoying seafood like oysters, never had the experience of digging them from the beach. After seeing posts about Danish embassy's appeal for help on social media, her friends were nonchalant about it; she initially thought it might be a joke.
However, as news spread globally and local Chinese community started sharing this message domestically, people quickly realized its significance. When parents came from home to visit their daughter in Denmark on May 8th (Danish time), edge of sea at around 11 am after driving for about two hours with all necessary tools: clothes, rain boots, gloves etc., and also prepared a drag car equipped with barbecues & buckets for collecting oysters & shopping bags filled with essentials such as garlic butter sauce mixtures; not forgetting any one thing!
They arrived at an area where many others had already been digging up oysters but still found plenty available. Many locals joined in too - some were even doctors who confirmed that these oysters could be eaten raw without cooking! Edge dug out an opened an uncooked Oyster right before her husband's eyes took a bite which was so fresh it tasted like straight from the sea!
In just four hours' time under their combined efforts by dividing tasks efficiently among participants- setting up barbecues ashore while others diving into shallow waters alongside rocks to dig out more shells - they managed to collect approximately 300 kilos worth of those delicious mollusks! The whole event was nothing short of helping solve another country’s environmental problem through food adventures shared together between cultures creating new memories!
The laughter echoed across shoresides as everyone enjoyed each other's company while working hand-in-hand during this unforgettable moment turning potential troubles into memorable moments shared among friends no matter where life takes them next time...
