有人说， dogs and humans are the same. Some dogs will bite, some are friendly, some might even kill their owners. It's all about temperament and training. This mother dog doesn't fully trust her owner yet.

Jane Yu: After giving birth, a mother dog will protect her puppies out of instinct. Even if she's cautious around her owner, she'll be sharp-tongued. Don't bother the puppies too much or separate them from their mother too often; this will only make the mother more protective of them. Speak softly and feed them gently; don't look at them directly or they might get anxious.

Over time, the puppies will adapt well to their environment, and as they grow older, the mother's aggression decreases too. If you do get bitten by accident, remove any blood clots first before washing with soap (not shampoo), then seek medical attention promptly.

Don't worry - in most cases a protective mom won't just attack without warning.

Lonely Moonlight Shadow: Does your puppy have an unfamiliar scent? Small pups shouldn't come into contact with other animals while still young; that can make mom nervous for sure! You could try wiping some urine or saliva on your pup to help mom recognize it better - but if that doesn’t work best keep those two separated for safety’s sake!

Sword Rain Dance: If this is your pet dog's first litter of second pups (i.e., not its first-time mommy), it lacks experience in raising pups! There are also certain Teddies who dislike small dogs even when they're own offspring after all these years - because let’s face it now days' pets aren’t like what used to be anymore called domesticated creatures! And if you really love Teddy you should know how many potential rivals there may be around for her now!
