小徐小姐 tearfully clutched the lifeless body of her beloved white rabbit, "Peter", which had been callously killed by two students dressed in blue and white school uniforms. On the evening of February 23rd, 2016, Mr.应 returned home from work and discovered a crowd gathered around the scene where Peter lay motionless with an arrow lodged in his body.
The owner of Peter was a man in his thirties surnamed Xu. According to Xu, he had found his daughter crying alone at home when he got back from work yesterday evening. She told him that her pet rabbit had been shot dead by someone.
Xu expressed outrage over the cruelty displayed by these young boys saying "These children are too heartless!" He comforted his daughter before burying the remains later that night.
A homeowner in the area mentioned that there were only seven buildings and four hundred residents in total but these two boys were not familiar faces within their community; they must have been outsiders.
From security footage provided by Xu, it could be seen that on the previous evening around dusk time, two students wearing matching blue and white school uniforms appeared in their neighborhood. One boy held a bow while another carried a toy rifle - unable to harm even cats let alone rabbits as evidenced by their actions on camera.
Both boys stood at different heights: one about five feet six inches tall with a bow slung over his shoulder holding onto an arrow box while another stood slightly taller at five feet seven inches clutching what seemed like an oversized toy gun. The incident occurred just beside Wu Lin Garden where nearby mechanic Chen Daoye shared his frustration over this senseless act saying "Rabbits are agile creatures - how did they manage to get hit? This isn't playfulness; it's malicious intent." Chen questioned whether such cruel behavior would continue into adulthood for these children as they grew older.
This event has raised concerns about safety issues within residential areas especially among parents who fear for their children's well-being.
It is imperative we address this issue head-on so our future generations can grow up without witnessing or experiencing such brutal acts.
We urge local authorities to investigate this matter further ensuring justice is served.
